As part of the EdCrunch International Educational Conference, the Second International distance learning competition for children EdCrunch Award OEC - 2019 (Moscow) was held.
The purpose of the competition is to identify, stimulate and support organizations and talented educators who show interest and actively develop distance learning competitions for children.
The winners of the competition on October 1 on the stage of the World Trade Center were welcomed and awarded by Dmitry Peskov, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Digital and Technological Development, Arkady Dvorkovich, Chairman of the Skolkovo Foundation, Alevtina Chernikova, Rector of the National Research Technological University “Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys ".
The first place in the nomination “Remote Olympiads” was taken by the Olympiad in reading competence “Reader +”, developed and conducted by teachers of the Minsk Region.
The authors of the Olympiad are Volkova Elena Ivanovna, deputy director, teacher of the Russian language and literature, art of secondary school No. 5 of the city of Soligorsk named after Hero of the Soviet Union V.I. Kozlova, and Kaminskaya Natalya Vladimirovna, teacher of the Russian language and literature of gymnasium No. 1 named after V.A. Korol, Cherven.
The first Olympiad "Reader +" was held in October 2017, and in October 2018 the second Olympiad in reading competence "Reader + (Profession)" was held.
Now the authors of the Olympiad are working on the concept of the third Olympiad in reading competency “Reader + Media”.
The main goal of the Olympiad is to increase the level of development of reading competence of students in grades IV – IX of institutions of general secondary education, and to form a conscious attitude of students to professional self-determination.
